Social media didn’t just appear out of nowhere; it evolved from our need to communicate in different ways with each other. If you remember chat rooms at all, you’ll appreciate how similar in concept it is to social media – it’s just that it’s more mainstream these days.
I spent my formative working years as a tech trainer for Next PLC, focusing on customer relationship systems, before moving into the world of customer relationship management (CRM). My experience in working with technology to ensure organisations use it to the benefit of their customers is a driving force in what I do today.
I’m passionate about using social media, and other technology, to forge better relationships with customers: current and potential. It’s totally possible to use social media to resolve customer issues and find potential new clients that are a close match to your ideal customer.
I’ve worked with a variety of clients to form a successful social media strategy that dovetails with their business objectives, whether generating sales or creating advocacy. I can work with any size business, but my forté is helping smaller firms understand how social media works so they don’t have to spend a fortune with a digital marketing agency.
All my experience is poured into my #SocialMicro programme, where you can get the benefit from it. Whatever is around the corner in this fast-moving industry, I’ll be sure to pass it on to you, so you can benefit too.
Oh, and I should perhaps mention that I’m also an award winning consultant! I was lucky enough to have been chosen as the Enterprising Star of the Year 2016 by Loughborough Students’ Union at their Student Enterprise Awards.
I’m not a student; this award was granted to someone who has inspired and assisted students looking to set up their own business – no surprise that my assistance was social media related!
